Hero Srihari has another reason to celebrate August 15th, other than Independence Day. Today, August 15th is also Srihari's birthday and this year he is also completing 20 years in the film industry.

Srihari, who started his career as a stuntman, celebrated his 40th birthday with his family and friends and thereafter speaking to the press he said "It's because of the encouragement that the audiences' and my producers and directors have given me that I have reached this far in my career".

About his latest hit film Hanumanthu, Srihari said "this birthday and Independence day is more special to me as I portrayed the role of a freedom fighter in Hanumanthu and I am very happy that the film is doing well. With this film the expectations of the audiences' has increased tenfold and that's left me slightly confused and apprehensive with the kind of role I will have to do in the future. But I will do at least one message oriented film every year and that to produced by my own banner. I already have a couple of scripts ready. Dasari Narayana Rao will be producing my next film".

Where producers Bellamkonda Suresh and C.Kalyan expressed a desire to produce one of Srihari's films, Sunku Ramesh and Bhaskara Reddy wished the birthday boy for his future projects.
