Sai Dharam Tej is readying for the release of 'Solo Brathuke So Better' on December 25. He has interacted with the media to promote the hilarious entertainer that has Nabha Natesh as the heroine. Also starring Rajendra Prasad and Rao Ramesh, the film is directed by Subbu.

Excerpts

The film presents the perspectives of both youngsters and parents. 'SBSB' is both a family entertainer and a comedy. Since 'Chitralahari', stories that suit my temperament have been coming to me. After 'Prati Roju Pandage', 'SBSB' is the right kind of film that balances both humour and emotions.

The hero, whose name is Virat in the film, abides by freedom and happiness. But in his attempts to preserve his freedom, Virat plays a number of obstacles. Whether he can successfully abide by his principles till the end is the crux.

If this film becomes a hit, the industry's morale will be boosted. I have always wished that the Telugu film industry is No. 1 in the country. People's safety is more important than collections. That's why we are urging the audience to strictly adhere to covid protocols. We have held promotional events of 'SBSB' in theatres. It's because theatres are a part of our system, and it's our duty to stand by them in a time of crisis. I am planning to watch the first day first show at Sudarshan 35MM in Hyderabad.

We did take R Narayana Murthy garu's permission before using his name in the film. He means well and his wishes are with us.

Deva Katta's film, wherein I play a Collector, is half-complete. It's a social message flick. My film with Sukumar's protege Karthik Dandu will go on the floors next year. It's a mystery thriller. I hope both these films will be a 2021 release.

This year has been spent mostly at home. A few fantasy novels have caught my attention. 'Dark' and 'Paatal Lok' on OTT have also impressed me.

My younger brother, Vaisshnav Tej, and I chill out at home. His friends are my friends, too. The thought that he too might have two theatrical releases next year makes me very happy.
