Awards for Students of MS Creative School at National Science Fair-Chennai

Students of MS Education Academy bagged 9 prizes in the 9th National Science Fair held in Chennai this month. The science fair was organized by Aaalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering and OMEIAT.
MS was the only institution in the fair that bagged 1/4th of the total prizes given away to the budding scientists at the fair were participants different parts of the country. MS students submitted 70 projects of which 31 projects were selected for the finals. Out of which 9 projects won prizes.
The organizers of Science Fair received over 500 projects across the country. Out of which 157 projects of different schools were selected for the finals. Among these 31 selected projects 31 projects were of MS students. In the final contest 36 projects won prizes out of which 9 prizes were bagged by MS students.
The projects of Bushra Khanam, Noorain Nafees and Khalid Saifullah won 1st Prize under Environmental Science and Physical Science category.
The projects of Leen Waddah Saleh, Sulaim Sultan, Mohd Akram and Ayesha Naseer won 2nd Prize under Life Science, Environmental Science and Physical Science category.
The projects of Sheema Fatima and Deena Moin won 3rd Prize under Environmental Science category.
ISRO Director Dr Mylswamy Annadurai was the chief guest of the prize distribution function. He appreciated the projects presented by MS students.
Speaking to the MS students one of the judges said, to "MS Students their future is very bright and they will do something big in the science field’. He also wrote a note for Madiha Fatima one of the students of MS School & appreciated her project. When she was asked what she wants to become in future, she told she wanted to be a doctor. The judge wrote a small note that she will become a doctor in future and told her that when she becomes a doctor she should frame the note.
Amena Kauser of Midhani made her project on Plants which absorb more toxi metal. This project was highly appreciated by the judges.
Commenting on the projects present by the MS students, they said these children have done the projects which are normally under taken by the research scholars.
It is to be noted that MS students worked like a real scientist and solved many problems from day to day life. Their projects were made of low cost homemade materials.
They have systematically collected data, analyzed and interpreted data and found the solution. They professionally presented this solution in their report.
MS management provided all logistic support to participants in this fair. One of the deputy Directors Mohd Khaja Nizamuddin accompanied the student contingent led by Science Fair incharge Sadiya Samreen. The management congratulated the students and their parents, who won the prizes in the science fair.
