The 9th edition of Seagram's Blenders Pride Fashion Tour brings back panache and glamour with leading names from the fashion industry to make the world a stylish place. The designers featuring this season at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour are Falguni & Shane Peacock, Gaviin Miguel, JJ Valaya, Neeta Lulla, Pankaj Nidhi, Rocky S, Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani, Vikram Phadnis and Wendell Rodricks.

Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2013 commenced in Chandigarh on September 286 and will conclude on November 24th in Mumbai, an exciting 60 day journey. From Chandigarh to Mumbai, 6 cities will play host to the work of 10 masters of the craft, and their spectacular creations, at what is acknowledged as the benchmark for the Indian fashion calendar. Speaking on the tour, Raja Banerji, General Manager - Marketing, Pernod Ricard India said, "Fashion and trends are ever evolving and it's a challenge to Curate the best new work, but we thrive on it. The Blenders Pride Fashion Tour experience across six cities is differentiated and a permanent marker for style in the Indian calendar, and we will deliver on expectations again in its ninth edition in 2013".

After a grand preview in Mumbai that took place on September 17, the eagerly awaited fashion extravaganza kick started in Chandigarh, Bangalore and now comes to its third city, Hyderabad over the weekend, featuring Gaviin Miguel & Neeta Lulla on day 2 of BPFT.

Gaviin Miguel gave it up for the woman in his collection 'Warriors of Heaven on Earth'. Before pen has even reached the drawing board; something has acted as a muse, be it an age, a structure, or a work of art. For Gaviin Miguel it is very simply and yet powerfully, the strength of a woman. His inspiration for this 'force to be reckoned with' flows through his collection - WARRIORS OF HEAVEN ON EARTH.

While a continuation of last year's line 'Stairway to Heaven', Gavin has taken forward the concept through the notion of tranquility and toughness of spirit in each of his warriors. The upcoming fashion season will see deep and dark tones come to life in metallic work. Gold, silver, rust, pewter, champagne and military shades like olive green segue into deep wines and deeper blues, making a powerful stand of color and conveying the idea of a resilient yet gentle woman. "I see women as strong characters. Since childhood; through my mother, my friends and now my wife, I have experienced this hidden power that women possess," explains Gaviin.

Yesteryears sensuality made its way into our wardrobes through Neeta Lulla's designs at Hyderabad BPFT. Actor Rana Daggubati walked the ramp for Neeta Lulla as the Show stopper. After the extravagances of the 80s and the tailspins of the 90s, the vibrancy of the millennium has brought a return to simplicity, all-encompassing philosophies, broader outlooks and an unbridled enthusiasm toward embracing eras gone by. Neeta Lulla ushers in the next calendar moment with a line that offers many alternatives, allows everyone to create their own individualistic selves and is coquettish, enticing and enigmatic. The fashionistas of the 205 and 30s take center stage in Neeta Lulla's collection, where attitude and attire, both call back from the past sheer sensuality and merge it pleasingly with the present.

One saw Neeta Lulla accentuating the style quotient with a chic look brought forth by the most flirty and sensuous aspect of Indian culture: the sari. "It is flirtatious, sumptuous and intense. I have showcased the sari in a form that is not regular today but makes an appearance from back then. Every piece in my ensemble had drawn their inspiration from this very sensual garment with a playful hint of the yesteryears."

Seagram's Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2013, launched the keenly awaited television, digital and print campaign featuring stunning Singer-Actor-Performer, Priyanka Chopra. Shot in the Big Apple by ace lens man and director Bharat Sikka, Priyanka as brand ambassador for Blenders Pride Fashion Tour is seen casting her spell on New Yorkers in a stylish black and white campaign so definitively Blenders Pride.
