Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2014 commences at Hyderabad Curated by Rocky Star and Neeta Lulla Boom Bay Central weaves the rhythm for the show And Boman Irani decodes style.

Hyderabad, November 15, 2014: Celebrating ‘Substance in Style’ carves the path for the 10th edition of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour. Beginning today with the city of Nawabs, the evening was impeccably crafted to bring out the best in design, music, technology and style.

A true ambassador of Style and Substance, Boman Irani set the stage by decoding his style to launch the 10th edition of the tour. Handcrafted to perfection is almost synonymous to the Blenders Pride Reserve Designers for the evening, Rocky Star and Neeta Lulla who showcased their creations on the first day of the tour. Fine notes of music by Tarun Shahani blended with the essence of designs on the ramp, epitomising true craftsmanship.

At Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, the technology concepts comprising of augmented reality and social media, along with explicitly curated music by Midival Punditz, for the entire tour, kept the audiences engaged and excited. The decor exuded handcraft and delicate patterns that accentuated the whole experience.

Transforming the look of every model were the hand crafted textures of Rocky Star gowns were curated with stunningly opulent embroideries and flowy alluring silhouettes in ivory, black, pewter. Speaking on his view on Style, the designer said “Style is about being over and above the ordinary.” He further said, H am glad to be a part of the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2014, which exudes style like never before. Every individual is extraordinary because of their attitude that is inherent to an individual’s DNA. Since I work closely with Bollywood, my designs bring to life a character’s attitude and story. With this season of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, I would like to highlight the ‘excellence’ of style."

Enigmatic nudes & gold flowing voluminous silhouettes paired with intricate textures of ribbon work in satin, detailed with ornate hand work of a mix of gota and crystal on tuelle and silk decoded the 'Neeta Lulla Reserve, Collection’. Presented in an extremely inimitable style, women achievers in Hyderabad including Arti Hora, Bobby Kandhari, Hameeda Aamir Sharma, Kavitha Reddy, Lakshmi Manchu, Rummy Mahendra and Shreedevi Nekkanti walked down the ramp showcasing Neeta’s collection.

Elaborating on her sheer elegant designs, Neeta Lulla said, “Today it’s all about style and substance. My collection draws inspiration from the fifties and spells fluidity and sensuousness of feminity and the strength that it inspires. I think our ghagra-cholies, sarees and churidar- kurtas are creating a global trend through our distinctive fabrics, vivacious colours and intricate embroideries. Blenders Pride Fashion Tour is a platform for me to express my distinct style. Style, therefore, for me is the power to express freely.”

The very talented actor, Boman Irani elucidated his fascinating story of self discovery, 7 am delighted to be associated with Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2014 as this is one platform which goes beyond fashion and is defining style with substance. The first day of the tour brought together an entourage of brilliant artists exuding style that is essence of their success. With distinguished hues, motifs, techno artistic treats and punk chords, the riveting evening ended while setting the stage for another day of verve.
