Kandireega - Beats and Lyrics will grab the youth's attention

After ‘Maska’, Ram and Hansika have joined hands together for the second time for the film ‘Kandireega’. Aksha is another heroine in the film. This is a romantic action entertainer being directed by the debutant Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. SS Thaman has scored the music for the first time for Ram’s film. He is simultaneously working for two of producer Bellamkonda Suresh’s movies, while one is ‘Kandireega’, the other is an untitled film in Venkatesh-Trisha combination. Thaman has become popular for his mass beats. Hence one can except good number of mass beats in this album too. So let’s begin the review now!
Gentleman Music: S.S. Thaman Lyrics: Bhaskarabhatla Singer: Ranjith, Chorus
‘Gentleman antaare padhi mandiki help ye chesthe….’ is a playful song picturised on Ram. This song is written by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar and sung by Ranjith. Although the song rendition and lyrics are playful and youthful, still the track does not stand out due to Thaman’s routine music style. He should have tried a little different pattern.
Champakamala Music: S.S. Thaman Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry Singer: Karthik, Suchitra
‘Champakamala…nanu champakebala…’ is a duet song rendered by Karthik and Suchitra. Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the words in flirtatious manner mixing both Telugu and English languages. The song is interesting to listen due to the charming vocal rendition. Karthik was at his usual best and Suchitra sang it in a seductive style. Beats are upbeat and amazing. And they go on and on like the sweet sound. I love it!!!
Nenkodithey Music: S.S. Thaman Lyrics: Bhaskarabhatla Singer: Naveen, MLR Karthikeyan, Alaap Raju, Ranjith, Ranina Reddy, Dharshana
‘Nenkodithey’ is a mass song that starts interestingly. Thaman, who became popular for his mass beat songs, did a wonderful job to this number. This song is sure to hit the chartbusters. Bhaskarablatla’s lyrics are playful and in a teasing manner. The opening lines of the song are catchy due to the rhyming words like ‘Ye addosthe eeedchi kottu, yeda peda chaachi kottu, abbabba adhe dhabba, malli malli kotu kotu, atu itu eto eto edhoti pagalakotu, matti idhi egaragottu eka eki egirikottu, ata kotu ita kotu yemukalanni iragottu…..’ and the song is followed by the drum beats which we commonly hear. Ram, being a good dancer actually has lot of scope for giving his best performance for this number. This is a group dance song sung by Naveen, MLR Karthikeyan, Alaap Raju, Ranjith, Ranina Reddy and Dharshana. Interesting, don’t miss it!!!
Angelina Music: S.S. Thaman Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry Singer: Ranjith, Ranina Reddy, Suchitra
‘Angelina Angelina…how do you do Hollywood Sona…’ is romantic number written by Ramjogayya Sastry. The lyrics in this song are also too flirtatious that the youth will easily get attracted to the track soon. Ranjith was very energetic while singing this number. Ranina Reddy’s voice is sexy and seductive. Suchitra was at her usual best. The multi-instruments that Thaman used in this song with clapping sound are good. Overall this peppy song is sure to grab the youth’s attention.
Preme Music: S.S. Thaman Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry Singer: Ranjith, Hemachandra, Deepu, Revanth Kumar, MLR Karthikeyan, Bindhu Mahima, Geetha Madhuri, Shravana
‘Preme poyinadhi le aa preme poyinadhe…..Preme puttindhi le ee preme putindhe…’ is a love song composed in the mass style. This song was sung by a group of singers like Ranjith, Hemachandra, Deepu, Revanth Kumar, MLR Karthikeyan, Bindhu Mahima, Geeta Madhuri and Shravana Bhargavi. Lyrics written by Ramajogayya Sastry are okay. Thaman composed the song in his usual style of beats. There is nothing great to write about this song, except that those who are fond of mass beats might enjoy it.
‘Kandireega’ album includes 5 songs list. Three of them will become notable songs, but as a whole, this album may impress the fans of Thaman’s music as much as they would have hoped. ‘Champakamala’, ‘Nenkodithey’ and ‘Angelina’ could easily be recognized and provide some excitement to the listeners.
