Anushka’s new film Rampachodavaram Added on Jul 02, 2011 Anushka, who created sensation nation wide through ‘Arundathi’ is now going to appear on the silver screen with yet another interesting film. Titled ‘Rampachodavaram’, the movie will go on the sets in August. Konda Krishnamraju of Sri Aditya Productions, who is currently producing the children’s film on Jesus Christ backdrop with Pawan Kalyan and Anushka in key roles under the direction of Singeetam Srinivas Rao, is planning this new project. He said, “The story of ‘Rampachodavaram’ is on the backdrop of few incidents that occurred during the British rule in 1930. The story is about a woman, who along with a group of young men-folk fights bravely against the British Government and defeats them in guerilla warfare. This movie would be yet another sensational film in Anushka’s career. J K Bharavi is penning the script. He had earlier provided the script for ‘Sri Ramadasu’ and also for the present Jesus Christ film on our banner. Chaitanya Dantuloori’s work in ‘Baanam’ has immensely impressed me, hence I felt that only he can do justice to this film. So I handed over the responsibility to him. Mani Sharma is also making efforts to provide aptly suitable music for this period movie. The major part of the film will be shot in Coorg in Karnataka and the movie will be made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages with huge star cast and top technicians.”Story-dialouges: J K Bharavi; Music: Mani Sharma; Cinematography: Anil Bandari; Editing: Marthand K Venkatesh; Songs: Suddala Ashok Teja, Vedavyas; Costumes: Payal Saluja (Mumbai); Production Designer: Bhupesh; Executive Producer: Sheshu; Producer: Konda Krishnamraju; Screenplay & direction: Chaitanya Dantuloori.
