Shivaji’s new film ‘Kolimi’ which is on the backdrop of Telangana movement will hit floors from May 16th onwards. The interesting aspect of this film is that a song will be written by TRS President KCR. Remember, he also wrote a song ‘Garadi Chestundru….’ For N Shankar’s ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ which ultimately became the main attraction.
Briefing about the story producer Nagendra said, “The film will showcase the history of Telangana people who sacrificed their lives right from the time of King Aurangazeb period to the present movement. The film will also discuss why the people of Telangana are fighting for the separate state. Shivaji will play the role of a student leader and two other prominent heroes will be playing key roles in the film. We will launch the film on 16th and start the regular shooting from 1st week of June.”
