Telugu speaking actress married Balakrishna's super bike designer

Sameera Reddy married her long time boy friend Akshai Varde after dating him for two and half years. Akshai Varde, a motorcycle entrepreneur is the founder of Vardenchi, a custom bike company, which also customized Balakrishna’s super bike in his upcoming movie ‘Legend’.

Sameera and Akshai got engaged in December 2013 and their wedding date was fixed in the month of April. However the couple decided not to wait any longer and rejoice their bond as quickly as possible. And today we learn that the couple went and did just that. Sameera and Akshai got married at Sameera residence in Bandra on January 21st, in front of a selected group of close family and friends and no one else. The marriage ceremony was held in a traditional Maharashtrian style. Neeta Lulla (designer of Aishwarya Rai’s costumes in Jodha Akbar and who’s currently designing costumes for Anushka in Rudramadevi) has designed the wedding dresses for this new couple. As it was a private affair, they did not want to attract the photographers.

Sameera Reddy hails from Rajahmundry. She is the daughter of a businessman Chintapoli Reddy and Nakshatra, a Gaud Saraswat Brahmin. The actress did her education in Mumbai. So she started her acting career in Bollywood with the film 2003 'Darna Mana Hai' and did several films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. In Telugu, she worked with Jr NTR in two films - 'Narasimhudu' and 'Ashok' and with Chiranjeevi in 'Jai Chiranjeeva'.
