‘Rani Ranamma’ is the film which is being made in the combination of Action King Arjun, actress Lakshmi Rai and prominent director Kodi Ramakrishna. Producer R Ramachandra Raju, who has good taste, is making this film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages under Shailaja Productions banner. ‘Rani Ranamma’ has almost completed 60% shooting part.
Briefing about the progress of the film, producer R Ramachandra Raju said, “The story of the film is set in the backdrop of Sri Lanka. A Tamil guy who lives in Telugu state comes across a little girl. Gradually the little girl developed attachment to the hero’s family. Hero tries to find out who the little girl is and who her parents are. Finally he came to know that the girl is Sri Lankan. The hero along with the little girl travels to Sri Lanka to find her parents with the support of government officers. Hero meets army heads there. What circumstances they face there and what happened at the end and the way how director has crafted the film, must be watched on the screen.”
“The story of the film is well blended with sentiment and action drama. This is the sixth film which is coming in the combination of Kodi Ramakrishna and Arjun. The film will be as good as their earlier films. Each and every scene in the film will be very heart touching. Rajendra Kumar has penned excellent dialogues. SA Raj Kumar’s music is the crux of the film. Hero role has two different shades. Climax scenes will goes on in a suspense mode,” he added.
“The story of the film is based on Mammootty and Padmapriya starrer Malayalam film ‘Kaazhcha’ which won three state awards. Prominent producer Rock line Venkatesh has acquired the rights of the film and we have bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights from him. It’s an amazing film. The final schedule of the film which will takes place in Sri Lanka will starts from October. We are planning to release the film by the end of this year. Arjun and Lakshmi Rai are playing the lead roles, while Baby Anshu is playing the key role in the film. Ashish Vidhyarthi along with music director SA Raj Kumar are playing important roles, informs producer R Ramachandra Raju.
