2 Lakhs fine for watching ‘Nenu Sailaja’ piracy

New Year has started with a good sign with the super success of energetic star Ram’s ‘Nenu Sailaja’. Not only here, the film is running successfully with good collections in overseas also. This energetic film was produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore on Sravanthi Movies banner with Kishore Tirumala as director and Krishna Chaitanya as presenter. Keerthi Suresh has played the female lead opposite Ram in this film, while Devi Sri Parasad has provided the musical scores. It is known to everyone that piracy has become the biggest problem for the filmmakers in the recent times. The same problem has now become a headache for the makers of ‘Nenu Sailaja’. The makers have now stepped up to rein the piracy which is hampering the collections.

Producer of the film, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has revealed that his team is tracking the IP’s of the people who are downloading the pirated version of the film. An advanced software is being used for this purpose and Rs 2 lakh fine will be imposed through Indian law.

Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore clarified, “Recently an Australian court allowed Dallas Movie Buyers Club to impose a fine of 5000-7000 Australian Dollars. He also reminded how Warner Brothers in Hollywood imposed 20$ fine on every one who watch their films in piracy. Rs 2 lakh fine can be imposed through Indian law. Advanced technology is being used to track the IPs of people who are downloading the pirated version of the film and we will send legal notice to those people.”
