Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kodali Nani, has expressed joy over the setting up of a statue of the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam in Gudivada. The Minister has met with B Ram Mohana Reddy, Vinnakota Satyanarayana, Lankapalli Prakash, BV Sathyam and P Shyam and others associated with Kalakarula Samakhya in Rajendra Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, the representatives said that he is happy that the statue will be inaugurated at the Rajabapayya Chowk near the statue of the timeless singer Ghantasala. Well-known sculptor Appa Rao has worked on the statue.
Nani has been invited for the inaugural.
The association that is organizing the event has said that artists who are facing any issue can bring their problems to the notice of the association for resolution.
