Speaking on the occasion, director Sudheer Varma said, "I am good friends with the director (Chinni Krishna) of this movie. I became a filmmaker because I was a dullard as a student. Had I been a bright student, I would have been doing a job today. I wish the team of 'Akshara' all the best."

Cinematographer Nagesh said, "'Akshara' is a meaningful film. When I watched the teaser of the movie, I could relate to it, given that I come from a farmer's family."

Director Srikanth Addala said, "I wish Chinni Krishna and team all the best."

Actor Harshavardhan said, "This film originated from the angst of director Chinni Krishna. It makes us very happy that MLC Kavitha garu has graced the occasion today. I feel that 'Akshara' will be a milestone in my career."

Kavitha Kalvakuntla said, "There are various reasons why students are committing suicides these days. Stressful conditions in education is a prime reason. When a handful of students are killing themselves every day, it is time we become alert. We should end the system of rote learning. The medium of cinema is quite powerful. Films like 'Taare Zameen Par' have triggered a debate in the past."

Nandita Swetha said, "It feels great to have done a meaningful film like 'Akshara'. I thank Kavitha garu for supporting us by attending the event. As for Sai Dharam Tej (the other guest), I haven't acted opposite him as yet but he is such a nice actor. 'Akshara' is the most important film for me since 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada'. I hope the audience will support our movie by watching it in theaters.

Sai Dharam Tej said, "Producer Ahiteja Bellamkonda has been dreaming about 'Akshara' for two years. He asked me to attend this event. He has been tensed during the making of the movie. But I am confident that his nervousness will disappear once the movie releases. Coming to director Chinni Krishna, I have known him for six years. Nandita's performance is looking cool in the trailer. It's my responsibility to encourage my fans when they become producers. I hope the message that 'Akshara' seeks to send across clicks with the audience."
