Nithiin, while playing a lover boy's role in 'Rang De', is up for something intense in 'Check'. Directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti, the film stars Rakul Preet Singh as a lawyer. Priya Prakash Warrior has a glamorous role. Bankrolled by V Anand Prasad, the First Glimpse of the film ticks the right boxes.
"The combination of the hero and the director will work big-time. We are confident that it will cross the expectations of the audience," the makers say, revealing that 'Check' is now in the RR phase after having completed its shooting.
"This is the story of a prisoner who was hanged," says Yeleti, perhaps meaning that 'Check' is the story of a prisoner who was sentenced to be hanged but who was never hanged.
Besides Sampath Raj, who is seen in the teaser, the action thriller also features Posani Krishna Murali and Murali Sharma in serious roles. Tripuraneni Saichand, writer-actor Harshavardhan, Rohit Pathak and Simran Chowdhury are part of the cast. Music and cinematography are by Kalyani Malik and Rahul Srivastava. Art Direction is by Vivek Annamalai.
