Aha, the Telugu-only streaming platform, is ready with yet another web series. Titled 'In The Name Of God', this one is produced by Suresh Krissna and has the 'Jathi Ratnalu' actor Priyadarshi in a serious role.
Touted to comprise of seven episodes, the same is directed by Vidyasagar Muthukumar. Nandini Rai has a key role.
The makers are confident that the web series, which has the 'Loser' and 'Mail' actor in a surprising role, will be a turning point for the 'Pelli Choopulu' comedian. Speaking today on a Zoom conference, Aha's founder Allu Aravind said that he has known Suresh Krissna since the days of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Master'. "I became his fan when 'Basha' came. 'In The Name Of God' has been produced by him. I have watched two episodes and liked them immensely. Priyadarshi's acting has improved a lot," Aravind said.
Suresh Krissna said that this one is his first web series as a producer. "This is a crime thriller with seven episodes, each of which is 40 minutes long," he added.
