'Swathi Muthyam' stands postponed indefinitely

'Swathi Muthyam', starring newcomer Ganesh Bellamkonda and Varsha Bollamma, will NOT be coming out in theatres on August 13. Sithara Entertainments on Wednesday made the postponement official.

"The delay was unavoidable but the movie will be highly entertaining whenever it arrives," producer S Naga Vamsi's banner said.

The announcement was accompanied by a playful video in which the lead man shows excitement about the approaching release date because he doesn't know about the producer's decision. The heroine looks at him pitifully. Memes related to Balakrishna and MS Narayana, among others, play out in the background as voice.

The decision to put off the film's release comes in the wake of two other Telugu films jostling for space in the pre-Independence weekend. Nithiin's 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' and Nikhil Siddhartha's 'Karthikeya 2' will be hitting the cinemas on August 12 and 13, respectively.
