Here is one more big-ticket postponement after 'RRR' and 'Radhe Shyam'. Ajith's 'Valimai', which was to be released on January 13 in Telugu and Tamil, has been indefinitely postponed. A statement was today put out by producer Boney Kapoor.
"Audience and fans have always been the source of our felicity. Their unconditional support and love during the hard times, instilled vital hopes in us to face hardships, and successfully complete our dream project," the official statement began saying.
The makers added that the safety and well-being of the audiences has always been at the forefront of all their decisions. "Abiding by the regulations of the authorities, we have decided to postpone the release of our film until the situation normalises," the statement added.
In Tamil Nadu, night curfew has been imposed. Also, Sundays will see total curfews.
