Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual is scheduled to head to theatres in October this year. The teaser of the Venky Atluri directorial was released today.
"Education is more than about marks and results," the makers said, presenting the teaser and highlighting the film's theme in one go. Dhanush, who is a junior lecturer named Bala Gangadhar Tilak, is a vigilante who goes about questioning the decadence of the education system in the hands of corporate and political interests. Nobody is interested to do justice to the kids who pay no fee for an education at the government school. For them, Tilak is the only hope.
For all we know, the story of the Telugu version is set in Tirupathi, at least partially.
Samyuktha Menon stars as the female lead. GV Prakash’s music and Yuvraj’s cinematography are said to be highlights. Sai Kumar has got a negative role in the movie.
The film's shooting will be completed next month.
