'SVP' has become the biggest hit: Mahesh Babu

The success even of 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' was held on Monday evening in Kurnool. The makers said in a statement that, in the first four days, 'SVP' grossed Rs 153 Cr worldwide.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Babu recalled the days of 'Okkadu', which was shot in Kurnool. "This event was planned just two days ago. We didn't expect the event to be this successful," the actor said, adding that the vibes are of a 100-day function.

"When I watched 'SVP' with my family, my son hugged me. My daughter told me I am looking the best. The credit goes to director Parasuram garu, whose character design has ensured this success," Mahesh said, thanking the audience for embracing the film. "I am happy to see the happy faces of our distributors. Mythri Movie Makers ensured the best release by selling the movie to the right set of distributors," Mahesh said.

"My father had predicted that 'SVP' will become a bigger hit than 'Pokiri' and 'Dookudu'," Mahesh revealed.

In his speech, the superstar also mentioned Samuthirakani and Keerthy Suresh. Thanking Thaman, Mahesh said that 'Kalaavathi' has become an anthem.
