This is the season of re-releases. We have seen the craze for 'Pokiri', 'Jalsa' and 'Chennakesava Reddy' recently. Ram Gopal Varma has now joined the bandwagon.
'Adavi', which was released as 'Agyaat' in Hindi, hit the cinemas in the year 2009. The mystery-adventure film, set in the backdrop of a forest, was headlined by Nithiin. Also starring Priyanka Kothari and Rasika Dugal, it was critically acclaimed by Bollywood critics like Rajeev Masand at the time of its release.
RGV was one of the producers of the film. He is now re-releasing it in theatres on October 14 with the hope that it might achieve a hit status.
The film's story revolves around a film unit that gets lost in a forest. An invisible beast, alternatively seen as an extraterrestrial being, threatens to kill the lead pair of the film.
