Hours after the result became clear, actor Nithiin made use of the counting day fever to plug his upcoming release, 'Extra - Ordinary Man'. Wishing the victors, he described their win as extraordinary. "Heartiest congratulations to Congress and Revanth Reddy garu on their #ExtraOrdinary victory in the Telangana elections!!! (sic)," the 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' actor wrote.
It could be said that Nithiin made an informal attempt at keeping the ruling party in good humour after the change of guard in Telangana. Most Telugu actors have been politically neutral, while a few like Vijay Deverakonda have been pro-TRS.
Meanwhile, 'Extra' is going to hit the cinemas on December 8. Starring Sree Leela as the heroine, the entertainer has been directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. Rajasekhar and Sudhev Nair will be seen in crucial roles in it.
