Clint Eastwood, the legendary American actor and film director, is planning to watch a Tamil film. 'Jigarthanda Double X' is the one. The action drama has Ragahva Lawrence's character grow up admiring Eastwood. When someone who worked on the Kollywood flick drew the attention of Eastwood to the Tamil film on Twitter, an official page run by the Hollywoodian's team responded favourably. "Clint is aware of this movie and he states he will get to it upon completion of his new film, 'Juror 2'. Thank You," the handle wrote.
Director Karthik Subbaraj is elated. He reacted saying that it feels so "surreal". The 'Jigarthanda' maker described Eastwood as a legend. "This film is my heartfelt dedication to Eastwood on behalf of millions of his fans in India. Can't wait to hear what he thinks of the film once he does," the maker of films like 'Petta' and 'Mahaan' wrote.
'DoubleX', co-starring SJ Suryah, has been streaming on Netflix.
Eastwood's accolades include four Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.
