'Rudhiraksha' is the title of a thriller starring Adi Saikumar in the lead. Producer Raju Juvvala is bankrolling it in the direction of Sivashankar Dev on 9 Star Entertainments. Ramoji Film City is where the regular production began today. The launch event was graced by actor-director Samuthirakani of 'BRO' fame, while producer Ram Thalluri switched the camera on.
"We are happy to associate with Aadi, the versatile actor JD Chakravarthy and Sathyaraj. All three actors will be playing pivotal roles. This is a dark thriller with authentic execution and rousing elements," the makers today said at the puja event in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. JD was recently seen in the web series 'Dayaa'.
The makers added that luxurious production values and quality technical output will be the cornerstone of the movie besides a strong script.
This is one of the immediate projects that music director Harshavarshan Rameshwar signed after Ranbir Kapoor's Bollywood blockbuster 'Animal'. Kishore Boyidapu and Vijay Krishna are its cinematographer and art director, respectively. Pawan Himanshu and Balu Mahendra are penning the dialogue.
