'Prathyardhi', starring Ravi Varma in the role of a sharp-minded and efficient cop, is going to hit the cinemas on January 6. Its trailer was recently unveiled at the hands of 'Uppena' maker Buchi Babu Sana.
Coming with the caption 'Guess the rival', the thriller features Rohit Behal and Akshata in other key roles. Bheems Ceciroleo ('Dhamaka' fame) and Prini Siddhant Madhav are its music directors. Paul Praveen composed the BGM.
Sanjay Saha of Gaalu Paalu Dream Entertainments said that director Shankar Mudavath has handled the film with deft. Edited by Rakesh Goud Maisa, the film is a thriller. A top cop who can crack missing persons cases in no time gets killed while on duty. This shocks the police department, which sets on to find out if there is more to the murder than meets the eye.
Co-produced by M Raaj Nayak, the film has got dance choreography done by Vijay Polaki. Shaolin Mallesh is its action director.
