'Bholaa Shankar', directed by Meher Ramesh, is back in the news. Less than a week after the release of 'Waltair Veerayya', Megastar Chiranjeevi is back on the sets of his next theatrical release. The film, starring Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah Bhatia in key roles, resumed its shoot today in Hyderabad on a set resembling the locales of Kolkata.

AK Entertainments is aiming at a grand theatrical release in April or May.

Last August, it was said that 40% of the shoot was completed. Tamannaah is yet to shoot for her first scene. The 'Mahanati' and 'Dasara' actress shot for some portions.

Meher Ramesh is going to present the 'GodFather' actor in a stylish, massy avatar. The fights (composed by the Ram-Laxman duo, Dileep Subbarayan, and Kaeche Kampakdee) are going to be a highlight.

Music director Mahati Swara Sagar, cinematographer Dudley, production designer AS Prakash, and dialogue writer Thirupathi Mamidala have been working on the project. Marthand K Venkatesh is its editor.

Raghu Babu, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Ravi Shankar will be seen in serious roles.
