'Extra - Ordinary Man' Trailer: Hilarity factor rocks!

In the trailer for 'Extra - Ordinary Man', nothing is serious. Even the antagonist (supposedly, Dr. Rajasekhar is the one) arrives only to crack a meta joke about Jeevitha(m). For the unversed, Jeevitha is the name of Rajasekhar's wife. "In my case, both ('jeevitha' and 'jeevitham') are one and the same," he says with an ironic laugh.

Throughout the trailer, there is not a single serious moment involving Nithiin. His father (Rao Ramesh) is flustered that he and his mother (Rohini) build castles in the air. While the mother always wanted her son to become an actor, the son ended up being an extra on the sets of films. Is this Maisamma's screenplay?

Some references (read 'Ponniyin Selvan', the Russia-Ukraine war and Balakrishna slapping his fans) trust the tastes of the social media-savvy segment.

Surprisingly, Sreeleela doesn't get a single solo shot. Does it indicate that the rom-com track is secondary to the film? Perhaps.

Also featuring Sudhev Nair, Sampath Raj, Brahmaji, Ajay, Harsha Vardhan, Suman, Annapurnamma, Pavitra Naresh, Ravi Varma, Hyper Aadhi, Venkatesh Mummidi, and others, the film is written and directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. Producers N Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy have worked with composer Harris Jayaraj. With fights by Vijay and Selva, the film will be released in theatres on December 8.
