'Vyooham' Trailer: RGV shows his immature 'paithyam'

The trailer for 'Vyooham' was out on Saturday. If it has to be described in one word, it is this: Atrocious. If it has to be described in two words, it is this: Super atrocious.

Ajmal Amir, who plays Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been dubbed for by the most unsuitable voice. If the voice is unchanged in the film, director Ram Gopal Varma should brace up for a wave of negative reactions from anyone unfortunate enough to watch the agenda-driven movie on November 10.

Then there is YS Bharati, played by Manasa Radhakrishnan. She talks slowly and smoothly as if she is the embodiment of political wisdom. The characterization is fuelled by what RGV has heard about Jagan's wife from the people he trusts - which means, the people whom Jagan trusts.

The song 'Raavali Jagan, Kaavali Jagan' in the trailer is amateurish. Even a bunch of local YCP activists from Pulivendula would have come up with a better song.

Knowing that he has no concrete drama in store, RGV resorts to crass sensationalism by showing the visuals of Chandrababu Naidu conspiring against Pawan Kalyan by pretending to be his well-wisher.

Speaking at the trailer launch event, RGV said that nobody is aware of what the truth is. He went on to explain that his perception of Naidu was influenced by the events leading to the coup against NTR in the mid-1990s, while his impression of Jagan was formed during the Odarpu Yatra. Such a level of understanding is even displayed by social media trolls, but one would expect filmmakers to possess a deeper insight.
