The Title Teaser of Superstar Rajinikanth's 171st movie has been unveiled. 'Coolie' is its common title across languages. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is produced by Sun Pictures. Pending the announcement of its release date, the makers have started out with promotions.
The action-filled teaser has swag and golden-hued oomph written all over it. The monologue mouthed by the hero in it has been drawn from an old Rajini song titled 'Vaa Vaa Pakkam Vaa', which was originally composed by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Music director Anirudh uses the trumpet, trombone and more to rev up the style quotient, besides providing the backing vocals.
As is evident, the video has been shot in black and white with only the gold colour as the dominant colour. The buzz is that a major action sequence in the film is going to have this theme, while the rest of the film will be in an atypical colour palette.
Rajini is also doing 'Vettaiyan', which is helmed by TJ Gnanavel. Co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and others, it is produced by Lyca Productions. It will be an October release.
