The news is that the film's production activities have been put on hold for a while owing to Nithiin sustaining an injury while shooting for the entertainer in Maredumilli forests. He has reportedly been advised to rest till the end of January.

As for producer Dil Raju, he is yet to announce the release date of 'Thammudu'. Before this movie, Vijay Deverakonda's 'Family Star', produced by him on Sri Venkateswara Creations, will hit the cinemas. Mrunal Thakur is its heroine.
