Popular social media influencer, YouTuber and Bigg Boss Telugu fame Shanmukh Jaswanth, fondly known as Shannu, surprised his fans by announcing his engagement to girlfriend Vaishnavi Chodisetti on Wednesday. The actor-influencer took to Instagram to share the joyful news.
In the pictures he posted, the couple looked radiant in matching golden attire, posing happily amid elegant decorations. Shanmukh captioned the post "Shanmukh Jaswanth Vaishnavi Chodisetti ENGAGED 25•02•2026 GODS PLAN REVEALED," adding hashtags like #shannu and #ayipaay, reflecting his emotional caption that "God's plan" had come to fruition.
On the work front, the young actor is now aiming for something big in films. He is currently doing a youthful rom-com titled Premaku Namaskaram. Written and directed by V Bhima Shankar, it will hit the cinemas soon. In 2024, Shanmukh Jaswanth was arrested for alleged possession of ganja (marijuana). Police went to his residence to arrest his brother, Sampath Vinay, in connection with a cheating and rape case filed by a woman.
