Director Sridhar Gade of Kiran Abbavaram's SR Kalyanamandapam fame is back. After securing a debut hit in 2021, the young filmmaker has now teamed up with a talented set of artists and technicians for a fresh, intriguing take on the horror genre. The story takes place entirely in a village.
Touted to be a unique narrative structure and a novel screenplay, the director is angling for subverting the stock genre tropes. The film's newly unveiled launch poster inspires confidence.
Lead actor Eshwar Rachi Raju of Committee Kurrollu fame is on board. He was recently seen in the Prime Video original, Isakhapatnam.
Nandu and Likitha play his co-stars. Poojitha Ponnada (Miss India, Rangasthalam fame), social media influencer Sindhu Kasaram, Suresh Guru, Royal Sri, Matta Sivakumar, digital creator Viha Dikonda, Sunitha Manohar, and Amma Ramachandraiah fill key roles. The auspicious muhurtham shot saw veteran filmmaker Kodanda Rami Reddy sounding the clapboard and handing over the script, while director Veerabhadram Chowdary switched on the camera.
Sateesh Reddy Masam serves as the cinematographer, while popular composer Sai Karthick of Raja The Great and Pataas fame handles the music score. Editing is managed jointly by Sridhar and Vbj, complemented by Dileep's action choreography. The project's creative direction is further reinforced by co-writer TN Subrahmanyam, production designer Nani Devarapalli (who has worked on Kalki 2898 AD, Sita Ramam), and costume designer Bhavani Addanki.
The film marks Production No. 3 for producer Venkat Talari, who brings the project to life under the banner of Sree Iswarya Lakshmi Movies. Having previously delivered successful ventures such as the hit family entertainer Chuttalabbayi and Anand Deverakonda's Highway, the producer aims to continue his track record of backing engaging stories.
