We all know how big hit was the song ‘Jintata Jitha Jitha’ from Rajamouli’s blockbuster ‘Vikramarkudu’, the tune created by maestro MM Keeravani. Now the Bollywood musicians Sajid-Wajid wanted to use the same tune in ‘Rowdy Rathod’, the Hindi remake of ‘Vikramarkudu’. The musicians said, “The song ‘Jintata Jitha Jitha’ reflects the hero’s character in the film, therefore it has become a part of the story. So we wanted to use the same song in the remake version also and hence bought the audio rights of ‘Vikramarkudu’. Another reason for buying the entire audio rights for the sake of one song is that we are great fans of MM Kreem (Keeravani) and his music. However we are going to make certain changes in the tune.”
Prabhu Deva is re-filming ‘Vikramarkudu’ as ‘Rowdy Rathod’ in Hindi. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha as lead pair for which Sajid-Wajid are composing the music.
