SS Rajamouli has become a darling of Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood this year, with his ‘Eega’, ‘Naan Ee’ and ‘Makki’. This time around, Rajamouli has done something that has become a universal acceptance. He was nominated for ‘Indian of the Year 2012’ award, the biggest and the most credible nation award. These awards include four categories – Entertainment, Sports, Media and Social Service. Rajamouli was chosen as the nominee in Entertainment category. Other top stars competing for this award in the same category are Aamir Khan, Sridevi, Vidya Balan and Irfaan Khan. Rajamouli is the only south Indian film personality whose name was entered in this nominee list. The nominations are based on the online voting.
