'Middle Class Melodies' has been streaming on Amazon Prime since November 20. The movie has been lapped up by the Telugu audience in a big way, going by the reviews and social media posts.
And, during a chat with the media on Monday, the makers of the film proudly said that the comedy-drama, which is also a family entertainer, has been getting a nice response from non-Telugus as well. Non-Telugus prefer to watch good movies with English-language subtitles.
Producer Anand Prasad of Bhavya Creations said that we have been used to admiring concept-oriented movies made by Mollywood. But with 'MCM', the tables have been turned. "I am very happy to have produced this film. I have decided to make concept-oriented movies in the future, too," he added.
Directed by Vinod Anantoju, the film stars Anand Deverakonda and Varsha Bollamma in lead roles. Vijay Deverakonda has praised the movie in a Twitter post.
