Nandamuri Kalyanram's 'Devil', the period spy thriller, will hit the cinemas on December 29 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on a pan-Indian scale. Samyuktha Menon of 'Virupaksha' fame is its heroine.
The news is that Dil Raju is going to release the movie in Nizam, Andhra and Ceded territories. He has laid his hands on the film's theatrical release rights for an undisclosed price. Dil Raju is the one who distributed Kalyanram's biggest hit to date, 'Bimbisara'. It is believed that Raju is confident about the content of the Abhishek Nama directorial and that's why is releasing the movie in theatres.
The film's pre-release event will be held next week. Jr NTR and another celebrity guest could grace the event as the chief guest.
With dialogues written by Srikanth Vissa, the film has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Soundar Rajan S and Tammiraju have done the cinematography and editing, respectively. Gandhi Nadikudikar has taken care of production design.
