When 'Hero' was released for Sankranthi last year, Ashok Galla was mostly referred to as a promising nephew of Mahesh Babu. More than a year after his first movie was released in theatres, Ashok is ready to shoot for his second project.
The untitled film was launched on Sunday in the presence of guests such as Victory Venkatesh. Producer Somineni Balakrishna was excited to reveal that the project has been written by Prasanth Varma, the prolific director of films like 'AWE', 'Zombie Reddy' and 'Hanu-Man'. The last of these films is Varma's first pan-India film. At a time like this, he has penned a story for an Ashok Galla movie.
Lalithambika Productions announced that the film is directed by Arjun Jandyala, a second-time director. 'Dhamaka' sensation Bheems Ceciroleo is its music director. Prasad Murella of 'Katamarayudu' fame is its cinematographer. Edited by Tammiraju, the film has got dialogues by 'RRR', 'Veera Simha Reddy' fame Burra Sai Madhav.
Mahesh's wife and entrepreneur Namrata Shirodkar was there today at the launch event.
