'Project K': India's first film to debut at San Diego Comic-Con

‘Project K’ is slated to be released in theatres in 2024. The news is that the prestigious pan-India movie has got a new feather in its cap.

The Prabhas-starrer has become India's maiden feature film to make a debut at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the US. The debut is happening this year. On July 20, the film's title will be announced. Also, the trailer launch date will be made official.

The sci-fi film's achievement has been described as stellar by film observers. Vyjayanthi Movies, which is bankrolling the movie, is elated. Director Nag Ashwin is making preparations to ensure that the SDCC debut is grand.

"India is home to some of the best superheroes ever written. 'Project K' is an attempt to bring out and share our lore with the world. And Comic-Con gives us the perfect stage to introduce our story to a global audience," the 'Mahanati' maker today said.

Producer C Aswini Dutt, who is believed to be investing Rs 500 Cr in the movie, said that Comic Con is a world stage for 'Project K'.

The SDCC panel will feature not only Prabhas and his co-star Deepika Padukone but also the film's villain, played by Kamal Haasan.
