'Jersey' director Gowtham Tinnanuri's third Telugu movie is titled 'Magic'. To be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, this one has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The musical teen drama is said to boast music that captures the rebellious spirit of its teen protagonists. The film will hit the cinemas in April or May this year.
Sithara Entertainments' S Naga Vamsi today described the movie as a teen drama featuring newcomers as four leads. "Scaling the skies and chasing the dreams while our music echoes. As we kick start the promotional campaign, we are dedicating the first poster of our film to the greatest musical bands of all time, The Beatles! (sic)," the producer wrote on Twitter.
"Four teenagers band together to compose an original song for their upcoming college fest. The narrative is laced with imaginative moments," the makers suggested.
Cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, production designer Avinash Kolla, editor Navin Nooli and costume designer Neeraja Kona are believed to have enhanced the feel of the film along with the 'Leo' and 'Vikram' composer Anirudh.
Shot tastefully in the backdrop of the Nilgiri Hills, 'Magic' is also produced by Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas.
