In his latest interview, Kamal Haasan revealed that his is a mere guest role in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. So far, Kamal's role in the Prabhas-starrer has been described as semi-full-fledged. The 'Vikram' actor's latest utterance comes as a surprise.
One wonders if there has been too much ado about a guest role. The film, to be released in theatres later this year, essentially belongs to the 'Salaar' actor, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. If Big B's role is not wow, the heavy-lifting would have to be done only by the Prabhas-Deepika duo.
Kamal's name has been mentioned prominently in the publicity material of 'Kalki'. If his is a guest role, one can only imagine what might be the length of the roles played by Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati (rumoured to be a part of the film).
Kamal also updated that he has completed shooting for both 'Indian 2' and 'Indian 3'. Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life' will resume its shoot in June this year.
