It is always fun if comedians are cast in otherwise serious situations. 'Osey Arundhathi', starring Vennela Kishore in a leading role, is one such movie. Its Teaser shows a domestic crime thriller wherein a housewife kills off her husband, either deliberately or inadvertently. As she tries to cover up her crime, she encounters a series of troubles.
Also featuring Ariyana Glory, Kamal Kamaraju, Pruthvi Raj, Chitram Seenu, and Shaani, the central female character is played by Monika Chauhan. The titular character lives in an upscale home in Hyderabad. When she tries to perform a 'vratham', all hell breaks loose. At stake is her family's honour.
'Osey Arundhathi', whose release date is yet to be finalized, has Vikrant Kumar wielding the megaphone. Produced by Gudur Pranay Reddy (who describes the movie as a family comedy) of Padma Narayana Productions, its music has been done by Sunil Kashyap. The film's Trailer is awaited.
Meanwhile, Vennela Kishore is also busy with 'Sreekakulam Sherlock Holmes' and 'Sarangapani Jathakam'. He was most recently seen in the box office hit, 'Mathu Vadalara 2'. 'Osey Arundhathi' is a potential hit from the talented actor.
