The first single, 'Aanandam Aaratam', from 'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya', directed by Venkatesh Maha of 'C/O Kancharapalem' fame and produced by 'Baahubali' banner Arka Media Works and 'Mahayana Motion Pictures', has been released. Composed by National award winning music director Bijibal, this song has been penned by Rahaman and sung by Gowtham Bharadwaj and Soumya Ramakrishnan.
UMUR is the official Telugu remake of National award winning Malayalam movie, 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram'. Sathyadev gets into the shoes of Fahadh Faasil, who had done a great job in the Malayalam version. The film also has Suhaas, Jabardasth Ram Prasad, Naresh among others in important roles. Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and Vijaya Praveena Paruchuri are the producers.
Producers said, "Director Venkatesh Maha has adapted the film according to the Telugu nativity very well. The teaser received a good response and now the song, 'Anandam Aaratam', has also been received well. The film is ready for a release. We will announce the release date soon".
