Speaking on the occasion, Power Star praised the trailer. “I have watched the trailer of the Sujana Rao-directed 'Gamanam'. It is artistic and highly inspiring. Her attempt is commendable,” the Jana Sena supremo commented.

The actor-politician added that Sujana Rao has done a nice job despite it being her debut film. "I have come to know that she has handled the sensitive subject intriguingly. I request everyone to watch the film," the 'Vakeel Saab' actor said, wishing cinematographer-producer Gnana Shekar V.S. on the occasion.

Malayalam actor Faahad Faasil, Kannada actor Shiva Kumar, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood and Tamil actor Jayam Ravi released the trailers of the other versions of the movie.

About 'Gamanam':

The film tells three stories. While Shriya Saran features one of the narratives, there is a love story involving Shiva Kandukuri and Priyanka Jawalkar, too. The third one is about two orphan kids dreaming to celebrate their birthday even though they don't know their date of birth.

In the love story, Shiva Kandukuri's character aspires to play cricket for India against all odds. Even his girlfriend played by Priyanka cautions him not to dream big.

Shriya Saran, on the other hand, is a mute woman who is the mother of a kid. She keeps waiting for her husband who went to Dubai to look for a job. But in Dubai, he marries another girl and expresses no willingness to return to India.

Floods in the city give the final twist to the three stories. Nithya Menen who plays a singer is also seen in the trailer.
