'Rakkasi', a new project produced by A7 Pictures, was today launched at Annapurna Studios. Director Sagar gave the clap, while producer Prasanna Kumar switched on the camera. Veera Shankar, too, was a guest.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Maya said, "This is our first movie. The director is my nephew."
Producer Prabha Naidu said, "This is a message-oriented movie. The story is set in the backdrop of drugs, focusing on how parents are responsible for some of the wayward nature of their children."
The film stars Vicky as the hero. Music director Shakeel said that he is thrilled to be working on 'Rakkasi'. Actress Simrat Bhatia, who plays the female lead, was a finalist of the 2019 Miss India pageant. She is trying to learn Telugu of late.
Abhi Annayya, the director suggested that the film is going to be exciting to watch.
