Recently, reports emerging from Bollywood media speculated that 'Karthikeya 2' director Chandoo Mondeti will be teaming up with Bollywood hero Kartik Aaryan for a sci-fi film. There was also a hint that a prominent Tollywood production house will be associated with it. An exclusive story brought out by Free Press Journal hinted that it was Allu Aravind who was bringing the director-actor duo together.
On Monday, a new pic that surfaced on the Internet set off a new round of speculations. Mondeti called on actor Suriya in Chennai. They both posed for a pic after the meet-up. Their official teams seem to have released the pic through a section of the Chennai media. Does it mean that Mondeti has firmed up a film with Suriya?
Before the release of 'Karthikeya 2' last year, Mondeti told the media that he has a project lined up with Geetha Arts next. "Allu Aravind garu and Bunny Vas garu are going to produce it. They have got two stories in mind, one of which is written by me. Either of the stories will be taken up. The producers themselves will announce the star cast. It will be set in contemporary times," he said at that time.
