'Veera Khadgam', produced by K Koteswara Rao and directed by MA Chaudhary, features Srishti Dange as the heroine. The makers of the film today said that it will be released in theatres in the third week of March.
Guest and producer Prasanna Kumar described the film's director as talented at an event today in Hyderabad. "I have known him for a long time. The songs in 'Veera Khadgam' are so good," he added.
The film's director said, "History might fade but its roots will remain somewhere or the other. Revenge is likewise. It will make someone hunt like a beast in search of revenge. This graphics-based movie is surely going to impress you. Producer Koteswara Rao garu did not compromise anywhere. He produced the movie on a grand scale."
Line producer Marushetti Sunil Kumar said that he has previously made 'Rendo Krishnadu', besides being a financier for films such as 'Indrani' and 'Chilipi Krishnudu'. He is confident of 'Veera Khadgam' becoming a hit.
Music director Shaik Parvez said, "The movie has four songs rendered by Sunitha, Lalitha Sagari, Sahithi and Rama Krishna. The director has done quality work. The film is based on a true incident that happened 300 years ago in Parvathipuram."
Brahmanandam, Sathya Prakash, Anand Raj, Madan, Tapasvi, Apoorva, Pridviraj, Tarjan, Dhanraj, Thagubothu Ramesh, Chalapathi Rao and others are part of the cast.
