The Teaser for 'Vishwambhara' has come in for incessant, merciless attack from Netizens. Director Mallidi Vassishta and UV Creations have been questioned for putting the VFX of 'Adipurush' to shame.
The VFX is plasticky and basic, Netizens have opined. "What is this even? Some of the shots look copied from Hollywood classics. This is not even subtle. Inspiration is one thing. But 'Vishwambhara' seems to be a copycat movie, straight up, with no much originality to its credit," a movie buff said.
Chiranjeevi's entry shot in the Teaser have been ridiculed. "Even a semblance of effort into designing the white horse would have been good. Far from looking mythical, the creative looks like a caricature," a cinephile wrote.
The film is slated to be released on May 9, 2025. "The Teaser should have been withheld since 'Vishwambhara' has been postponed from Sankranthi. UV Creations should have asked the entire team to go back to the drawing room and redesign the VFX. The makers of 'Adipurush' did the same (although the results were far from satisfactory) after its Teaser was trashed by everone," a film observer said.
With music by MM Keeravani, 'Vishwambhara' has cinematography by Chota K Naidu.
