The latest track from Band Melam is all about soulful resonance and teen lovers finding their rhythm. Composer Vijai Bulganin delivers a modern melody with a folksy soul. His tune channels the same creative spark seen in his work for Baby to craft something evocative. The song is strengthened by the lyrical heights of Chandrabose’s writing. Shwetha Mohan’s velvet vocals offer the perfect vessel. Visually, the song is a blissful journey through the formative years of Giri and Raji, played respectively by Harsh Roshan and Sridevi. Under the direction of choreographers Suneel Sunnapu and Phalguni Bangera, the duo executes spirited movements.
The film's teaser was released recently. Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Roshan described the Summer release as a "village love story set against a pure Telangana backdrop," noting that his role explores a full spectrum of intense emotions. Director Sathish Javvadi has cast Sai Kumar as heroine Sridevi's father.
Presented by Mango Mass Media, the film is produced by Kona Film Corporation's Kavya and Shravya.
March 13 is when Band Melam will head to theatres.
