In June last year, Tollywood media reports stated that Allu Arjun will be teaming up with Malayalam actor-director Basil Joseph. This project was rumoured to be a superhero movie. A couple of Hollywood production houses were believed to be in talks with Geetha Arts for the project.
The Basil Joseph project is back in the news. The Mollywood filmmaker, on Monday evening, was in Hyderabad to attend the Allu Sirish-Nayanika Reddy pre-wedding party. The director was seen chit-chatting with the Pushpa 2 actor on stage.
Usually, private parties are the sole preserve of noted industry names or those with whom a family member has a close rapport. It's possible that Basil Joseph and Allu Arjun have been planning something concrete.
Allu Arjun is currently solely occupied with Atlee's movie, which will take almost one year from now to complete its shoot and post-production.
